Kameron is an Associate in Marten Law’s Portland office where he litigates a wide variety of federal and state regulatory matters. Kameron is keenly knowledgeable in matters involving the Endangered Species Act (ESA), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Clean Water Act (CWA), and Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA). As a result, he has been called upon by the firm and clients to provide valuable insight and counsel on issues ranging from MTCA liability defense actions to multi-district litigation on PFAS groundwater contamination. Kameron serves on the firm’s pro bono committee and provides pro bono services to the PCC CLEAR Clinic, where he works on eviction expungements, and for an international environmental nonprofit, providing advice on nonprofit formation issues.
Prior to Marten Law, Kameron’s well-rounded experience included internships with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife Office of the General Counsel, American Forest Resource Council, and United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization. This experience has often proved invaluable in helping clients find nuanced arguments or solutions to their problems.
An Order of the Coif graduate and Oregon Merit Scholarship recipient from the University of Oregon School of Law, Kameron externed for the Honorable Mustafa T. Kasubhai, U.S. District Court of Oregon, Eugene Division and was Co-Director of the Green Business Initiative & Public Interest Environmental Law Conference. Prior to law school Kameron was a scholarship football player at Duke University where he received a B.A. in Environmental Science and Policy and earned accolades as a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll. Upon graduation Kameron continued his education at Duke where he went on to graduate at the top of his class receiving a Master in Environmental Policy from Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment and Sanford School of Public Policy.

- Litigation Counsel to New Mexico local governments for recovery of costs to remediate municipal water supplies contaminated by hazardous substances used by private companies and the U.S. military
- Represents municipal water providers in multi-district litigation on PFAS groundwater contamination caused by U.S. military’s discharges of fluorinated aqueous film-forming foam
- Counsel to large municipalities on liability risks from PFAS in biosolids and wastewater
- Advises publicly traded company seeking to restart antimony and gold mining operations at dormant site on regulatory approvals, CERCLA, and NEPA issues
- Successfully represented group of homeowners in coastal Oregon landowner dispute over wrongful closure of trail with prescriptive easement
