Marten Law is pleased to announce that it has opened an office in Toronto, Canada, and appointed Isabel Carey to head the firm’s new office. Isabel is licensed to practice both in Canada and the United States. A graduate of Harvard College and NYU School of Law (Order of the Coif), Isabel clerked at the Court of Appeal in British Columbia before moving to Toronto. With the ability to advise clients under the laws of both countries, Marten’s Toronto office is well-positioned to assist its US and Canadian clients in the retail, energy, manufacturing, food processing, mineral and transportation sectors. The office also has particular expertise navigating chemical regulations in the US and Canada, including newly enacted PFAS regulations.
