Zachary counsels clients on a range of environmental matters, from litigation to regulatory compliance and permitting.
Zachary is an Associate in Marten’s Washington, D.C. office. He has experience working with several federal and state environmental statutes, including the Clean Water Act (CWA), the Clean Air Act (CAA), the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, & Liability Act (CERCLA).
During his time at Harvard Law School, Zachary was a member of the Environmental Law Society and the Environmental Law Review. While a law student, Zachary worked as a summer associate at Marten Law where he assisted on matters such as emerging contaminants and Superfund litigation and electric vehicle regulatory compliance. He also was a summer legal intern at the Environmental Protection Division of the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office where he worked on civil litigation targeted at water pollution.
Zachary worked for a Boston-based consulting firm focused on serving the energy industry before attending law school. He graduated from Harvard College with a degree in Environmental Science and Public Policy.
