Zack counsels clients on a range of environmental matters, from compliance with sustainable products regulation to hazardous waste litigation.
Zack is an Associate in Marten’s Washington, D.C. office. His practice focuses on helping brands navigate the still-developing patchwork of legislation and regulation geared towards greater sustainability in consumer products. Zack also has experience with several federal and state environmental statutes and has worked on hazardous waste litigation under both the federal Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, & Liability Act (CERCLA) and Washington’s Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA).
During his time at Harvard Law School, Zachary was a member of the Environmental Law Society and the Environmental Law Review. While a law student, Zack worked as a summer associate at Marten Law where he assisted on matters such as emerging contaminants and Superfund litigation and electric vehicle regulatory compliance. He also was a summer legal intern at the Environmental Protection Division of the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office where he worked on civil litigation targeted at water pollution.
Zack worked for a Boston-based consulting firm focused on serving the energy industry before attending law school. He graduated from Harvard College with a degree in Environmental Science and Public Policy.
