Toronto is Newest Marten Office

Marten Law is pleased to announce the opening of an office in Toronto, Canada, and the appointment of Isabel Carey to head the new office.  Isabel is licensed to practice both in Canada and the United States. A graduate of Harvard College and NYU Law School (Order of the Coif), Isabel clerked for the Court of Appeal in British Columbia before moving her family to Toronto, where she now resides. Marten’s Toronto office will assist US-based clients with environmental compliance matters arising under Canadian law.  Likewise, we will be able to assist our Canadian clients with both US and Canadian environmental issues. Our clients include Canadian companies in the consumer products, mining, and chemical and food processing industries.  We have particular expertise navigating chemical regulations in the US and Canada, including newly enacted PFAS regulations.
