Seattle, WA (April 27, 2021) – Marten Law is pleased to announce the addition of Tanya Nesbitt, Sara Cloon and Katy Guillou to our energy, environmental and regulatory law practice. All three are experienced in the complex litigation, transactional and regulatory matters that impact the financial institutions, energy, technology, manufacturing, food and transportation companies we represent.

Tanya Nesbitt has worked in both private practice, and as a trial attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice, Environment and Natural Resources Division (DOJ), and as a Special Assistant Attorney with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Washington D.C. At DOJ, Tanya represented the Department of Interior and various other federal agencies responsible for the stewardship of public lands and natural resources. At the U.S. Attorney’s office, she first-chaired over 35 bench trials.

Sara Cloon, like Tanya, is a litigator who has counseled clients on toxic tort, chemical contamination, and permitting matters. Rice of the Eastern District of Washington. She also served as a judicial extern for Justice Mary Yu of the Washington Supreme Court.
