Firm News
Seattle, WA (September 17, 2020) - Marten Law is proud to announce it has joined the Law Firm Antiracism Alliance (LFAA), an organization with over 273 member firms (as of 9/16/2020) dedicated to addressing racial injustice within the law.
The LFAA was founded with the purpose of leveraging the resources of the private bar in partnership with legal services organizations to amplify the voices of communities and individuals oppressed by racism, to better use the law as a vehicle for change that benefits communities of color and to promote racial equity in the law.
The LFAA will focus on facilitating the coordination of its member firms to best enable legal services organizations and the LFAA to create large-scale, coordinated pro bono projects that are both immediate and long-term in scope. Member firms will dedicate substantial pro bono resources to initiatives that address systemic racism as outlined herein.
Marten Law is committed to increasing diversity and inclusion within its ranks, and believes that its partnership with LFAA provides the potential to create meaningful and lasting change through collaboration with member firms.
