Jessica Ferrell Quoted in E&E News Greenwire

PFAS, Firm News

October 19, 2021

Marten Partner Jess Ferrell (Seattle, WA) was quoted in "Biden PFAS Plan Contains New Pathways for Litigators," a featured story published today in E&E News Greenwire regarding the Biden Administration's plan to combat PFAS pollution, announced yesterday.

The Biden Administration's Plan includes potentially listing two types of PFAS as hazardous substances under the federal Superfund law (CERCLA). Jess commented that this "would address some arguments that have been made by manufacturers that things aren’t as toxic — or not to the level that plaintiffs or public health entities have alleged.”
